We are searching for a motivated person. This position entails helping with the development of conceptual designs, design development and construction documents for a wide variety of projects. Travel for work may be necessary.

Preferred Experience:

• Minimum of an undergraduate degree in landscape architecture.

• A minimum of two to five years of experience in the field of landscape architecture.

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD (MicroStation is a plus).

• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Rhino, Lumion and SketchUp would be useful.

• Experience preparing construction documents including specifications and estimating.

• Knowledge of irrigation design is a definite plus.

Responsibilities:

• Be able to legally work in California.

• Possess a valid California Driver’s license.

• Be respectful and courteous to coworkers and clients.

• Strong organizational, time management, and verbal and written communication skills.

Expectations:

• Work independently and self-directed.

• Work full time (40 hours per week) with possible occasional overtime.

• Must be able to work closely with staff and project managers to produce documents and deliverables.

• Effectively communicate with team members through multiple channels (Phone, Email, etc.)

• Help with the production and coordination of drawings and specifications, including consultant coordination.

• Be able to work on a variety of projects simultaneously.

• Work independently or with a design team to complete projects.

• Attending virtual and possibly physical, project coordination meetings.

• Attending site visits.
