The Tatsumi and Partners team was selected from a state-wide selection process to prepare a beautification master plan and construction documents (PS&E) for a four mile length of State Route 41 in Fresno County - this included an extension of the freeway to improve nearby residential street traffic. Areas included four major interchanges with local streets as well as a major interchange with State Route 99. Design concepts included various gateway treatments and screening treatments along residential areas. The design process involved several interactive community workshops to gain and include public input into the designs. All designs are prepared in conformance to Caltrans and Fresno County Transportation Authority guidelines with significant input from the County of Fresno and the City of Fresno. Final deliverables include a complete set of Plans, Specifications and Estimates along with a 100% electronic Intergraph CADD submittal.
